Happy day to all! One of my favorite visitors, the Pine Marten! I love their high energy level. They have a high metabolic rate, and semi- retractable claws. They are excellent swimmers, and are able to rotate their ankles 180 degrees!

My sleep schedule is so messed up. The Girl was off on a weekend trip up the coast with friends so I took the opportunity to do Christmas gift organizing/wrapping. After getting home from dinner with a friend, I was up all night doing Santa’s work & went to bed @ 6am. Ready to pass ouuut rn.

For the first time in a long time I woke up without feeling anxious or stressed about what fresh hell was waiting once I checked the news or when I’d hop on social media. I didn’t feel it at all this morning. I felt all Hope-y again. I really think this is the beginning — America is healing.
