Valencia County Indivisible is a visible, cohesive group that engages our community in resisting any governmental actions or policies that may be harmful to Valencia County residents. Angry and afraid about what is happening to our country? Join us.
All of this is very true and Indivisible is uniquely positioned to lead in this dynamic. The DNC will not and cannot do this. If it's going to happen, it will be Indivisible and groups like us who do it

It’s time for Donald Trump to 👏 release 👏 the 👏 files. 👏

This isn’t a request. This is a Congressional subpoena.

That’s why next week’s vote will pose a serious choice: will the GOP continue to cover for the White House, or will they do the right thing? The survivors deserve justice.

For some reason, when we posted this earlier, we failed to find the Bluesky account for our outstanding Attorney General, Raúl Torrez. You can — and should — follow him here: nmdoj.bsky.social

Mostly depends on who his successor is. If it's almost any Democratic opponent, it'll feel pretty good. If it's J.D. Vance, not so much.

You would think that someone who relatively recently converted to Catholicism would stop and reflect after his policies were rebuked thoroughly and decisively by the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops... but not this guy.

This is so cool: Copper, which makes induction stoves with li-ion batteries integrated, is going to build *10,000* of these suckers for use in New York public housing.

Better cooking, easier cleaning, grid resiliency built in. Win win win.

Huge thanks to New Mexico Attorney General Raúl Torrez who riffed and answered questions without notes for over an hour at our General Meeting this evening. He was thoughtful, compassionate, and spoke with a complete command of the facts. New Mexico is in capable hands.

NEW: At Pope Leo’s Urging, Bishops Issue Historic Rebuke of Trump’s Raids
Nearly all U.S. Catholic bishops united in Baltimore to denounce the Trump administration’s “inhumane” deportation campaign — a near-unanimous, unprecedented moral stand against a sitting president.

Trump is signaling to SCOTUS that he simply will not comply with an adverse ruling. It can either rule in his favor or risk being publicly gelded by him.
So he’s saying all the tariff money we took in is gone and we won’t be able to pay it back. There was always a possibility he could lose this lawsuit and have to refund the tariff money. We didn’t prepare for that possibility? He’s running the govt like he ran his casinos.

Is there any downside right now to laying down a marker by simply kicking John Fetterman out of the Democratic Caucus?
If Schumer were McConnell, he’d tell these “hateful eight” that supporting Trump will now lead to their immediate removal from committees, elimination of their staff down to minimal levels, taking away their “hideaway” offices, & a portfolio of other large & small cruelties. But that won’t happen.

American politics makes a lot more sense when you realize that the GOP is afraid of pissing off the GOP base, and the Dems are afraid of pissing off the GOP base, but neither party is afraid of pissing off the Dem base.

Sending a fax seems like an appropriate way to communicate with a politician who hasn't been able to process how the political landscape has changed since the 1980s.
Schumer’s offices have a recorded message saying they don’t take calls outside of business hrs. But folks can send him a free fax here: faxzero.com/fax_senate/S.... Tell him no deal that doesn’t protect health insurance tax credits now.
