Many of the things happening (legal protections granted by landmark cases overturned/threatened, ICE becoming a blatant gestapo, DC attacked by nazis) were accurately predicted by the Left, who then begged Dems to act. Dems had the opportunity to prevent all of this and instead smugly ignored us.
