The President of the United States just called for my arrest and execution.

In these moments, fear is contagious, but so is courage:

Medicare for All would save $450B a year.

Every dollar spent on food stamps generates $1.50-$1.80 in economic activity.

Each dollar going to low-wage workers adds $1.20 to the economy overall.

It’s not about what this country can or can’t afford.

It’s about priorities.

I won't pretend I've listened a TON, but this is my sense of the issue with Joe Rogan: It's less that he has some calculated right-wing agenda he's pushing, and more that he's a credulous meathead who will blithely nod along to guests spouting absolute gibberish.

It’s kinda wild the President is openly corrupt, Nazi sympathizing, and very likely a pedophile—and most Republicans in Congress are still willing to ignore the Constitution whenever he asks.

All my random politically unaware friends are making Trump/Epstein jokes. You know what they haven’t said? “I heard Hakeem Jeffries promise to lower the cost of groceries”
The usual suspects are telling Dems that Epstein won’t win elections, get back to “affordability” and I think my head might explode. www.offmessage.net/p/force-a-re...

made a similar point on the opinions podcast this week in response to the idea that epstein is a dead end. not only are actual voters interested in this but it divides the gop and puts pressure on the president. it would be political malpractice to treat it as a sideshow

Force A Referendum On The Epstein Coverup
It divides Republicans much more than "affordability" or any other economic issue.

Well said.
As the US skips the UN climate conference, slashes science, and steers into pollution, China is going hard with solar, and selling tons to the many countries that prefer to live in reality rather than deny it.

Yet more indication America threw away global leadership and facilitated China’s rise.

Exactly right. Why should we respect a president who doesn’t respect the constitution he swore an oath to uphold?
November 10, 2025 at 11:00 PM
Agreed! This has always been the answer! Don’t disengage. Activate your disgust constructively by displacing the feckless f@#ckers occupying positions of power that they refuse to use to protect and advance the common good!
Right, the answer isn't to abandon the party to these weasels.

The answer is to flood the party with people who will take it over and transform it.
Hey, a lot of people are talking about changing affiliation from Democratic to Independent.

Let me tell you why you shouldn’t do that in Colorado.

One of the main ways to get a primary challenge candidate on a ballot is to caucus for your party. You need to be registered as a Dem to caucus.

The coordinated nature of this—none are facing voters in 2026—means that either Schumer approved it or failed in his job as Senate Majority Leader to stop it.

Dems voting "no" get zero credit until they demand a change in leadership. Schumer out as Leader, Durbin out as Whip.
so currently defectors are:

Kaine (2030)
Shaheen (Retiring)
Hasan (2028)
Fetterman (2028)
Durbin (Retiring)
CCM (2028)
Rosen (2030)
King (2030)

The core problem is institutionalized moral hazard: Democrats have taught MAGA Republicans that extortion works. The the MAGA bloc learns they can get policy concessions through brinkmanship without any doubt about Democratic Party Choosing not to effectively fighting back.
If outside moderate factionalists really want to disclaim this outcome, they should seize the whip hand in demanding accountability. Immediate new leadership elections, mid-session resignation for all Dem capitulators who would be replaced by Dem governors. www.offmessage.net/p/16-thought...

Fools and cowards:

Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH), Maggie Hassan (D-NH), Angus King (I-ME), Catherine Cortez Masto (D-NV), John Fetterman (D-PA), Dick Durbin (D-IL), Jacky Rosen (D-NV), Tim Kaine (D-VA).

Trump says that now even the Democrats agree with him & he was right all along…

November 10, 2025 at 3:33 AM
The model of holding individual senators responsible is broken here. The retirees clearly agreed to take the fall. Which is why the nos should get no credit for voting no unless they move to oust Schumer
