A puzzle wrapped in an enigma wrapped in a comfy blanky. Had my account hacked, so starting anew.

"It was revealed Wales edited the Wikipedia article of his former company, Bomis. "Bomis Babes", a section of the Bomis website, had been characterized as "soft-core pornography", but Wales revised this to "adult content section" and deleted mentions of pornography"

Sorry I can't get over this but it's just so funny to say "The test starts off with giraffes and elephants but the questions get way harder than that"

When you see stories like this it’s fun to imagine what his numbers would be if the entire media wasn’t controlled by five freaks who are actively doing their best to champion him and stifle the mass wave of dissent rippling across the country.
These findings in the new Washington Post poll jump off the page: Trump is underwater by 19 points on his handling of the economy (40/59) and underwater by 30 points on his handling of tariffs.

By contrast, the same poll found him at +14 net approval on the economy in Oct. 2020.

It was actually purchased years before I had my own CD player. Wham!'s "Make It Big" back in the mid-80s. Didn't have my own disc player until 1993. I bought it to listen to on my parents' CD player, but my dad was very picky about how and when I used it, so I barely got to listen to it. Ha.
Do you remember the first CD you ever purchased?

Hot steaming take: the best songs on the 2 1972 Beach Boys albums were the ones by the "new guys," Blondie & Ricky. I wonder about a Beach Boys that continued with them instead of the whole "Brian Is Back" fiasco of the mid 70s.

i dunno man maybe having a social landscape where most art and culture is increasingly pushed to the side to prioritize centering people saying and doing outrageous and violent things for attention was a bad idea

i wonder if there was a menswear writer in 1914 who, shortly after writing an article on how to wear pants, went outside and saw a newspaper headline read "Archduke Franz Ferdinand, Assassinated" and he thought "hm, prob not good"

Anyone familiar with Louisiana politics can tell you that Mike Johnson is VERY familiar with shielding & protecting accused pedophiles. He campaigned with notable pedophile and child pornography enthusiast,Josh Duggar. He is close with Paul Pressler, who is a SBC pastor also found of abusing minors
