New covid vaccines inhaled through the nose and mouth could help prevent people from becoming infected or passing on the virus—but questions remain.

Tax data released with this years' MYEFO shows Australia's highest income earners continue to receive the vast bulk of tax benefits.

Not good news for people who might be feeling the pinch before Christmas.

Beware those who want to bring this system here
I fell off a ladder in August. The bill for the 1.7 mile ambulance ride is $4387.31.

Our $4500 per MONTH Cigna insurance won’t pay more than $600, because the ambulance is out of network.

There are no in-network ambulances in our county, and I was unconscious when it was called.

A recent scientific paper compared long-term mortality by vaccination status.

I noticed that Table 2 drew a lot of attention, but was actually included in the paper as a static image. So I built a quick dataviz project to explore.

In 1811-12, the Luddites attempted to resist some of the first waves of machine-industrialisation. They were crushed.

20 years later "pauper apprentices" (= orphan children) were being SOLD to factory-owners as cheap labour.

Think on, dear hearts, think on.

NEWS: We’re delighted to announce that Wolverhampton School of Art (1966-70) has just been Grade II listed!

The decision saves the brutalist building from a proposed demolition; it follows a listing application by C20 and a vigorous local campaign led by artists, staff and students at the school.

I used to rely on social media to point me at what I needed to know about. Now I use it to help me avoid knowing too much about things. Today my timeline suggests that I should at all costs avoid:
1. Checking the cricket score; and
2. Checking what Trump had to say in his speech.

Am fed up of the voyeuristic, commercialisation of pain and suffering - media and celebrities (inc politicians) jumping on the bandwagon of "exciting happenings to talk/write about" and treating peoples pain as a sport. Is disgusting.

Labour strikes aren’t new!

The first recorded strike in history took place in Egypt some 3,200 years ago!

The ‘Strike Papyrus’ records that tomb workers of King Ramesses III downed tools over pay and conditions circa 1157 BC!

So on point!
The AFR run a 2 year campaign to get the ALP to weaken the changes to super tax concessions to make it easier to avoid paying the tax.

The ALP does it.

The AFR criticises the ALP for weakening the policy because people can avoid paying the tax.
