I'm glad that they have done this although obviously convincing people that they should not trust the CDC on health is a stupid uphill battle that we should never have had to fight.

Word of caution. Just because Trump claims that the USA controls things in Venezuela, it does not mean that it does or is anywhere close to doing so. All Trump has done so far is remove one dictator but leave a dictatorial system in place.
Don't mistake his bluster for truth.

However, for some reason the narrative of Ukrainian collapse is still there. Why do we not want to help Ukraine defeat Russia?
Also, Zelensky chose a new chief of staff, General Budanov, and he is no patsy. Will be interesting to see what changes.

If Russia says it will protect you, it means Russia will do so by attacking you, or sit by and do nothing when someone else does.
A few weeks ago, Russian propagandists bragged how Venezuela is protected by Russia and the United States cannot do anything.

Now, all Russia does is express concerns and condemnations.

I‘m discontinuing my social media use for the foreseeable future and I want to explain why.

I woke up in the new year to discover that some guy on here had saved photos I took on New Year’s Eve and used Grok to remove my clothes. I know this because he showed me.

And I don’t want to sound conspiratorial, but if they feel like they can do this in Venezuela without any serious consequences, they’re absolutely going to try it in Cuba too.
