It’s crushing to me that Senate Democrats couldn’t hold out for SNAP rulings. It shows me that people losing their SNAP benefits was actually never really something that entered into their calculus on this.

It should be up to the membership who gets endorsed - not leadership. It would take time to work out the details on how to accomplish this, but it could be done. Each local in a Region votes. All Regions tallied to see who gets endorsed or something along those lines.
