What do you mean, „echo chamber“? I, for one, found Paddington 2 underwhelming.

AppleTV has become the home of prestige sci-fi and I am not mad about it.

Now, I really love dogs, but I also had 3 babies and at some point during Die My Love I thought: „She’s gonna kill that dog and I don’t even blame her.“

Having seen it now, I actually find the description of „a film about post-partum psychosis“ for Die My Love pretty reductive. In fact, I don’t even think it’s accurate.

Arrgh, House of Dynamite is so frustrating. The first 40 minutes were riveting. I was bummed when the big cut happened and I realised how it was gonna end, but the second act was still top-notch. And then the film loses so much steam in the third act as it retreads all the things we’ve already heard!

My key takeaway from 28 Years Later is that from now on, whenever I can’t explain something, I’ll say „The magic of the placenta“ and shrug.

It's almost like when you tax the rich in a place you get to make that place a better place and even the rich just looking out the windows of their limos at most of that place in passing prefer to think "oh, that looks nice" rather than "I must prepare my bunker for the impending apocalypse"
NEW: The first two years of Massachusetts' millionaire tax has raised $3 billion more than expected.

And rather than driving the rich away, IPS researchers found that the number of millionaires has *increased.*

The current discourse is how I found out that Bond DIES IN THE LAST FILM? Like, wth? The whole point about those movies is that he makes it through anything. I’d have been pissed (if I was still watching them).

Currently rewatching The Duff, one of my favorite high-school rom-coms. Mae Whitman is delightful as always and Robbie Amell’s so charming and likable in this sort of role that I wonder why he’s not a Hollywood leading man. In another era we would have dozens of rom-coms led by him and James Marsden.

I read this and immediately thought “well that would actually be awesome because then Marty can go back to the 90s where he probably had a really awesome time as a teenager” and then I was like oh wait his PARENTS would have been teenagers in the 90s and then I just sat here for like 45 minutes

I have barely made it through 10 minutes of All‘s Fair and I’ve decided it must be a prank. Why does Ryan Murphy hate us? Why is Naomi Watts doing this? Why do we have to put up with Kim Kardashian‘s acting?

In my family, John Mahoney was always (and will always be) „the judge from Suspect“ and not Frasier‘s dad.
I think everybody has a “Wallace Shawn from Young Sheldon” — my first one would probably be “Vincent Price, the guy who did the voice of Ratigan in The Great Mouse Detective”

Some well-deserved Kyle Chandler love
Kyle Chandler is one of the purest, most precise screen actors we have. He's played in all kinds of movies and he's always just right. I have yet to catch him in an inauthentic moment, even when the script or filmmaking are weak. He also has Tom Hanks-level "how can you not love this guy" energy.

If Renny Harlin does with orcas what he did with sharks, I am totally on board.
Melissa Barrera joins John Travolta in survival thriller ‘BLACK TIDES’ from Renny Harlin.

The film follows an estranged father trying to reconnect with his daughter and grandson, when their sailboat is attacked by rogue orcas.

The Diplomat is very much my thing. You watch an episode and you really want to know what is going to happen in the next one; therefore, you keep watching. This is an interesting approach and I believe more television shows should try it.

Too many films I want to see, so I might go and catch After the Hunt and Good Fortune today. It’s not the most cohesive double feature but it’ll do.
