Fallout casting director (into megaphone): We're seeking about 3 dozen extras that look like their families have been locked underground for 200 years with little to no effort to prevent inbreeding. *points directly at a guy* You're in. (He starts crying.)

The drunkest I ever got was when I was living in Chicago. My girlfriend insisted on helping me trim the Xmas tree, then told me she was marrying someone else. I started drinking & when I came to the next morning, the tree & all of the trimmings had been thrown out onto the lawn from the 3rd floor
Headed into New Year’s Eve, compelled to report the drunkest I ever got was waiting tables at the old Anchorage on 280/35W in NE Mpls. We were in costume, but around 11:45 decided to strip to my undies, wrap a tablecloth around my midsection & run around dining room as Baby New Year. Crowd went wild

The latest of my pieces looking back at 2025 is the great conversation with @andydehnart.com, where we dig into the year that was in reality and unscripted TV

(1981) The song was originally written and released I 1964 by the Minneapolis-based garage band The Novas. They dedicated the song to professional wrestler Reginald Lisowski better known as "The Crusher". I used to watch as a kid - right before Roller Derby. #MusicSky youtu.be/X-_4mu1Oo74?...

I feel a little bad whenever I see an AI "artist" talking about having their AI prompts stolen, because the rocket full of people I'm going to shoot into the sun is already packed WAY over cargo capacity.

It's sites like CBR and the ilk that keeps me reluctant to fully go all-in back into TXB. I know we all need accurate information from people who actually do the research & give a damn about these things as well as take the time to write something worth reading.

The churn era is so disheartening.
Wow, I forgot Shinzo aired on Cartoon Network. Oh wait no I didn’t. It never did. It aired on Jetix. Tiger & Bunny didn’t either despite it being in the header image and also not on the list.

Does it matter if a comedian lies throughout a comedy special in which he is trying to teach the audience the “true history” of the country?

Dave Chappelle's new comedy special is a lot of things - including a defense of Sean Combs. But one thing is not is especially accurate.

This feels like the kind of thing @theonion.com could have a lot of fun with.
I guess I am not surprised, but someone let the domain quibi.com expire and it is now being auctioned at GoDaddy. Right now, the top bid is $3,500.
