My takeaway from every new Epstein revelation is that some powerful people victimized many powerless young women, many more knew, some actively enabled it--and we're still being told that MeToo and accountability for sexual violence have gone too far

Andry José Hernández Romero, I remember you, even if I do not know how to articulate my horror, rage, & sorrow at your treatment by my government.

No one has heard from you in 43 days.

As vigil, I’m posting a photo of you every day until you are returned from El Salvador.

They make it sound like there are millions of dead people getting Social Security checks. But it's just not true.

I spent the day at the ICE Detention centers where Rümeysa Öztürk and Mahmoud Khalil are being unjustly detained. They've been taken thousands of miles away from home and denied due process.

I’m here to call for their immediate release and make it known that they haven’t been forgotten.

BREAKING: Pete Hegseth disclosed sensitive details about upcoming strikes against the Iran-backed Houthis in Yemen in a private Signal group chat that included his wife, brother, and personal attorney, The New York Times reports.

No more excuses — Trump must fire him immediately!

What Judge Xinis is banking on is that the government does not want to spend two weeks in discovery. Two big things can happen:

(1) They just make the call and get him back

(2) They spend two weeks creating a public record of their own fuck ups and then get sanctioned

Can Congress pass a bill to naturalize Abrego Garcia, thus removing Cheeto’s artificial barrier to bringing him home? Him refusing to sign the bill would be contempt of court right?

Trump talking to Musk - about incarcerating NOT JUST American citizens that are criminals currently incarcerated here...
But also "non productive" citizens.

I really really hope that @hcrichardson.bsky.social addresses this during her Virtual Town Hall in just an hour...
(Everyone should attend)
As I posted in August on the other place…

Still thinking about (& waiting for *any* journalist to ask about):

Trump’s claim that heads of other countries are “getting rid of non-productive people” —

a plan he called “brilliant for them” — and what he meant when he said “so would I”…..????👇

I'll be tweeting clips from @patrioticmillionaires.org's "How to Beat the Broligarchs" event this morning in this thread as part of my partnership with @snapstream.com. Follow along!

I scanned dozens of newspapers from around the U.S. & world. On average, international newspapers cover the widespread protests against Trump/Musk and for democracy much more prominently on their covers than those in the U.S.
This isn’t due to deadlines, protests were daytime in the U.S. #handsoff

I asked the one high ranking policeman I saw on 5th Ave why there were so few police. He said “We did not expect anything like this. Don’t tell anyone but I’ve only got 44 officers out here — and it’s a great crowd, great event, no incidents.”
I have never seen anything like this in NYC. 5th Ave covered from 42nd St well to the 20s. Nobody prepared for this volume. Volunteers are holding the traffic on all the side streets. No police in sight. #handsoff
