It may only be a matter of time, but musically "AI" seems incapable of buildup and payoff, taking the listener on a journey, or any kind of compositional complexity. As a human music maker I find myself leaning into these elements and away from directionless ambience.

Less than a week after making his Topps baseball card debut, Tayler Saucedo has been DFA'd by the Mariners. I may have blocked someone who insisted, despite all evidence, that Sauce was still good – but that doesn't mean I won't be cheering for him wherever he goes. You play nine innings.

Josh Naylor is doing a press conference right now and said that he was so happy to learn the Mariners have Tucker. He talked about how great all of the Mariners staff and players were when he arrived but then was like, “He [Tucker] put me over the edge, I love that little guy” 🥹

Deal is now official: Josh Naylor returns to the Seattle Mariners for five years and $92.5 million.
The Seattle Mariners waste no time getting their man and have reached an agreement to bring back first baseman Josh Naylor. It’s a 5-year deal, per Jeff Passan.

UPDATE: cards are spoken for! This raised twice as much as I expected – the Mariners community is amazing! Bee could still very much use donations, and I've linked her info below. Thank you and GOMS
MARINERS FAM: Bee needs some help, and I’ve got some cards I’m willing to give away. If you’re interested in any of these, DM me – we’ll work out an amount, and I’ll mail you the card with proof of that donation to Bee. I’m thinking $50 for Woo, $40 for Bryce, and $20 each for the rest. GOMS
