If you are worried about losing followers for speaking out (or for reskeeting folks who are speaking out) against the injustice in the world, you're not really losing anyone that matters unless racists are your target audience. Losing racist followers is a good thing.

A term that shows up 100 times in the Old English medical "Leechbook": yfelan wætan -- the evil wet. Anglo-Saxons understood this term innately. We don't. It has something to do with respiratory issues, congestion, mucus maybe. But as a living term, it's lost to us.
