I wonder if our system would be any better if we forced elected representatives to live full-time in their home districts and conduct most government business virtually. Have their kids attend local schools, make them work out of local offices, etc. It should be easier for me to yell at my rep

Listen, if the Democratic establishment is willing to back Cuomo as an independent primary every single one of their asses and make them fight for it. If they’d rather fight popular candidates and positions make the PACs do that and set their money on fire until it doesn’t mean anything.
