It wouldn’t have mattered what was in the bill, Burchett opposes everything (except tax cuts for the rich). He thinks obstructionism is heroic - meanwhile storm torn communities in East Tennessee would be worse off tonight if Burchett carried the day.

Learned from a PhD student at UCSF that one of her assigned science info connections has switched from X to BlueSky. She doesn’t use social media so wondered why. I explained Musk has made X a snake pit. Frankly I was surprised to learn academic institutions are also leaving X. SMART MOVE :-)

Kind of just realized that people were default Peaters in the 80s. At the movies, you had popcorn popped in coconut oil washed down with a Coke. Maybe had Red Vines as a snack during the movie. When you went to the fair, you got cotton candy and snow cones. Kinda crazy how that all changed.
