congress simply cannot deliver cities that are not under active occupation by masked secret police
in chicago’s austin neighborhood around 8 am:
this horrific video posted to social media shows at least four feds open a person’s car door, then handcuff and abduct them from laramie avenue.

video captured around 6:30 am shows a team in four vehicles detaining a person on lake street. one agent is seen rifling through the person’s car.

A one year-old was pepper sprayed in a car with her parents by an armed, masked federal agent, and Dick Durbin is more concerned with "how the Senate works"
And the truly craziest thing abt this cave is that someone seeing the invasion of Chicago firsthand, Dick Durbin, doesn't understand this.
seems to me that those democrats inclined not to fight perceive themselves as living through a somewhat ordinary cycle of presidential overreach and backlash and not something much more significant and dangerous

Waking up Monday morning, to go back to work, seeing failing democrats and evil republicans; without a single sports win from my teams over the weekend to cushion the blow has me sitting of the edge of the bed this morning like this:

One of the talking points I keep seeing from Democrats is that part of the deal is that it will "ensure federal workers receive back pay" but that's the existing law!
That's not something you've won in negotiations. That's just the letter of the law. You don't get to claim that as a win.

It doesn't actually matter if Chuck Schumer votes for this or not.
If he can't keep his caucus unified to protect healthcare for over 10 million Americans, he should resign as leader.
