I am constantly forced to confront this at various media gatherings (at one today!) and people still talk about it mythically, hype up edge cases, and when I ask regular AI users how it has dramatically changed their everyday life they say “it’s replaced Google for me,” because it summarizes Google.

Working on a book about COVID & media and one funny thing I’ve seen is the initial strategy of minimizers was to suggest the flu was more dangerous and we should focus on the flu instead of worrying about COVID. Those same con men now also want you to think the flu is not dangerous either

Sadly, this is why Democratic leaders needed to act when the iron was hot — to lead, get out on the streets, and mobilize public opinion.

Sometimes very hard not to feel like the rest of the country has abandoned Minnesota. We STILL have ICE everywhere. Our schools, businesses, and economy are in profound crisis. But without Bovino here throwing tear gas, much of the country seems to not care at all what’s being done to us.
