Elon Musk is worse at hiding it but this is the problem with all billionaires: they are a threat to democratic governance. They have an insatiable need to own and control everything. If you want to be free you have to curb their power, and demand political leaders who understand that

Trump’s FBI is building a list of individuals and groups who oppose and protest Trump, support immigrants and LGBTQ+ people, and criticize capitalism —in order to label and investigate them as domestic terrorists.

This is the fascism we were warning about.

People have claimed this was happening forever, not specifically blaming Siri but feeling like their phones were spying on them to target ads. Turns out they were right! How wild and awful
“The only clue that users seemingly had of Siri’s alleged spying was eerily accurate targeted ads that appeared after they had just been talking about specific items like Air Jordans or brands like Olive Garden, Reuters noted”

He was biding his time. This one isn’t that hard
The part that I can't figure out is what John Roberts thinks he is doing. He used to seem to be a judge who was very attentive to appearances, I think on a theory that you can't draw too much attention to yourself without undermining your ability to continue to shape the law.

I can’t tell you how glad I am to be released from the disgrace of Temu ACIP.

I made a commitment to watch and comment on these proceedings. Not sure I’ll do it again.

In summary, ACIP is no longer a legitimate scientific body.

Every U.S. state needs to decouple their vaccine policy from ACIP.

To be very clear, Kennedy's team is messing with a vaccine which has led to a 99 percent drop in the incidence of hepatitis B, which kills, early and painfully, 25 percent of the people who get it as children. lnk.thebulwark.com/3Xt957M

Simply amazing that the Supreme Court declared an end to legal race discrimination in the affirmative action case two years ago and now allows overt racism in both immigration arrests and redistricting.

Using race to help minorities? Bad. Using it to discriminate against them? Very, very good.

WaPo is so credulous here. I mean I’m just a regular guy not an award winning newspaper but something tells me the Trump admin won’t let it get to that point. I don’t think their commitment is actually to “fairness,” you guys might want to consider that
Brown University accepted nearly equal numbers of male and female students, but got almost twice as many female applicants. That math meant it was easier for men to get in.

Trump’s attack on DEI may hurt college men, particularly White men
The Trump administration’s ban on diversity, equity and inclusion also targets gender. The ban may impact gender balancing practices that often benefit college men.

He genuinely dislikes immigrants & immigration too, that’s the only way to give an answer this bad
Jeffries: "The border is secure. That's a good thing. It happened on his watch. He wants to claim credit for it, of course he'll get credit for that. In terms of making sure that we actually deal with the issues that matter, including on immigration, there's a lot that's left to be desired."

For some reason Democratic leaders seem to prefer telling voters what they won’t be able to do, rather than what they’d like to do.
