By the way, armed paramilitary police pointing guns at you for taking their picture? That's powerful evidence that you rightly fear violence in an asylum case. Just make sure you're going somewhere that asylum from the US isn't legally impossible.

It really sucks that, if I try to learn about the folklore and cultural traditions of Germany, there's always some fascist butthurting about how we're not allowed to learn about it any more and they always drown out the people trying to teach it.

There's a lot of intriguing nuance in Theravada. I'm torn about it. On the one had it's a path for which a layperson's practice is limited if they are married and work a day job. On the other hand it says a lot of things that cut awful close to truth from what I've seen (but also some sus takes).

I think love that doesn't teach you anything new is a lesser love that may fail to thrive. If you don't learn something about yourself and about others, what is love to you? Simply going with the flow and losing yourself in another while talking trash behind their back?

Being on UK disability benefits means you can't have any sort of financial gifts such as say someone sends you money.
I'm serious. Any income whatsoever needs to be declared, no matter how small for them to adjust next payment.
