I break with many critics of #adoption because i advocate for more than the end of secrecy. We are told that adoption provides a child with stability, but we are never told why the change of legal kinship status must be irrevocable. I believe adult adoptees should be able to annul their adoptions.

Yes!, and it also presumes none of us were athletes well-versed in exercise beforehand 😮💨
A lot of us who have these illnesses know what being more or less trained feels like, and how our bodies should respond as we try to build capacity--what good pushing vs bad pushing feels like!

So my adoptive mom threw the"well you know, your mom could've aborted you" at me today because she's tired of my "attitude". I told her "I am pro abortion to the point of being fine with having never existed." That pulled her up short. I don't play this game. With anyone. 🥚
