Hey, that’s my book! But these are the uncorrected proofs with a slightly different cover. I didn’t even know this existed until I saw it on eBay one day.

Identifying this as a child support database undersells it. By an accident of history (they needed it to enforce child support), the child support system is responsible maintaining in aggregate all state UI wage records. It's called the National Directory of New Hires. Extremely critical stuff.
New: DOGE sought access to a sensitive database kept by federal child-support office

Powerful system contains income info, Social Security numbers for *nearly all U.S. workers*

DOGE initially rebuffed by a career civil servant who questioned legal authority

This is huge and monstrous. The nasal vaccines are our only hope of getting back to a world where you don't have to fear getting covid indoors. I would like to stop masking some day, and they're going to make it impossible.

Trump’s purge at the Pentagon is just the start.

Last night he fired the highly-regarded General C Q Brown, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and replaced him with a retired three-star general, Dan Caine, who on their first meeting put on a MAGA cap and said ‘I love you, sir.’

Elon Musk is raking in federal $ as he slashes government spending. Just this week:

-Tesla gets $767M from Puerto Rico
-SpaceX nets $8M from NASA
-Tesla gets $400M to sell Cybertrucks to State Dept.

One expert: "We haven’t seen this type of abuse until now.”
