Watching the latest Lennon/Ono doc (w/ MSG concert feat. Sha-Na-Na & others) the other night, and I realized that SNN's retro shtick was for music that was roughly 20 years old. So a similar "oldies" band now would be playing songs from ca. 2005 and dressing like Jack White.
Just had the realization that 'vintage 80's' stuff now is what 'vintage 40's' stuff would have been for me as a teen and now I want to quietly go to my grave.
