It is depressing how everything has become so commodified. It is at the point where people can gamble on people dying in an actual war.

I feel how alienating the economy is is the big thing missed by liberals. The world however, bad it is right now, It's not the worst it's been but for many young people in wealthy economies. It is a bit worse than it has been in terms of finances but it is also the most alienating it's ever been.

It feels like people like to act like fascist are not just wrong in how the world should be but are always wrong about how the world is in everything. Fascist are wrong on a lot but they come out of some real problems with capitalism. It is not accidental many of the first fascist came from the left

I like seeing kids out in the world. Children should be accepted in more places such as grocery stores, Universities, workplaces, etc.

I don't know how to properly state how close to nuclear war we are at this very moment. And How both unwilling and incapable major actors including China, the USA and Russia are to do anything to decrease the risk. Like the post cold war cooling of nuclear tensions is over.

I feel weird about how the Fermi paradox gets used. Author for me paradox seems to me to be talking about that. There's something missing in our understanding. Not some problem to be solved with wild guesses. Like we not found life yet outside earth so important to address that first.
The Fermi paradox asks why we've yet to find evidence of intelligent extraterrestrial life. The odds are we should!

I do hate the expectation a lot of people have that kids must be quiet and pretty feel like people over judge babies for crying. Like just because someone is a kid it does not mean they are not a person and it is okay treat them poorly.
