This is the sort of thing fascist pretend to solve by going back.

Despite people in these countries being able to mostly survive the world feels hollow. The commodification of social interactions such as with social media weakens them, the algorithms taking away choosing what we do, all leaving people empty.

That sounds impossible.

The only cure for fascism is an end to capitalism because otherwise the fascists will keep coming.
