After yesterday’s surrender, we’re launching the largest Democratic primary program that we’ve ever run.
We will not back any Senate primary candidate unless they call for Schumer to step down as Minority Leader.
If you’re as pissed as we are, join this campaign to rebuild the Democratic Party. 👇

Democratic leaders have failed us again. It's time to get new leaders.
After yet another capitulation by Chuck Schumer and Senate Democrats, it's clear we need new leadership capable of mounting a serious opposition to Trump's authoritarian regime. We're launching our la...

Voters want a Democratic Party that fights back against the forces that have rigged the system and made their lives more difficult.
A party that comforts the afflicted and afflicts the comfortable —not a party that buckles and capitulates.
When will party leadership learn this lesson?

Drawing of the Day:
Spineless Schumer and the Senate Democrats cave without getting ACA funding (F*ckers!!), SCOTUS won’t take up a case on same-sex marriage (yay) but will take up one on counting mailed in ballots (uh oh)

One thing I’m glad I learned young was everyone at their best is temporarily ablebodied. Disabled people are the largest minority group that you can join at a moments notice. If it’s an accessible space, when you need it you’ll have better access yourself. Selfishly you should want access for all
Your new motto should be: if it’s fine for disabled people, it’s fine for me.

Imani has some scathingly accurate videos on how the Dems caved on healthcare (and will continue to do so) because 1) they'll be using it for midterms and 2) private equity is set to make trillions off of us since Covid mass-disabled this country. It pisses me off, bc I can see it.
By the way, this has been the Democrats party for decades. They’ve skated by for years on this “at least we’re not republicans” bullshit, meanwhile enabling them at every turn.
This is just the time during which you can ill afford their feckless ways.

I don’t care who you are, the one thing that links all of the -isms and bigotries together and sets them on fire is eugenics and ableism.
They’ve been playing you all the entire time. There is no progress in this country for ANYTHING without equity for disabled people.

And giving in now will embolden him. Things will likely get worse.

Still processing the inanity of this cave, like, "We're going to make Republicans go on record that they want to destroy the ACA." You mean the motherfuckers who radicalized in opposition to it & voted to repeal it, like, 22 times? You're finally getting them on record? Really impressed over here
“If Schumer really wanted to use his considerable influence and leverage to stop this, he could have done that,” a senior Democratic Senate aide tells Zeteo. “He didn’t.”

Abolish ICE, Abolish the Senate, ethics laws for SCOTUS and expanded court. It’s time to get rid of all the structurally broken things. I’m so sick of people more concerned with procedural matters than their impacts. I care about my community and the environment not the filibuster.

Fuck you @schumer.senate.gov
People will die because you were spineless with the only leverage you had. Just like ICE got expanded because of the last time you didn’t have a spine. You’re out of line with the millions of Democratic voters who did our part, you haven’t done yours.

If you’ve got a Senate Democrat who is not calling for new leadership, they’re part of the problem.
We should no longer trust Senate Dems who decline to come out against the leadership that led us here. Until proven otherwise, we should assume they were in on the game to fool their own supporters.

Note that she's not blaming the Democrats who doomed us to this outcome yesterday.
We already know every Senate Republican is trash.
But we're SUPPOSED to be supported by our own D senators.
But they screwed us.
Murray isn't addressing that. Plank in your own eye, etc.

We're debating on the government funding package right now and every single Republican voted against a Democratic amendment to pass a clean, one-year extension of the ACA tax credits.
Republicans just don't care about your health care.

Furious Liberals Call for Schumer to Step Aside, Senate Dems Mostly Quiet
After their shutdown surrender, liberal lawmakers are begging their base to unite behind them anyway – as Trumpland celebrates that their opposition is a bunch of 'p*ssies.'

seems to me that those democrats inclined not to fight perceive themselves as living through a somewhat ordinary cycle of presidential overreach and backlash and not something much more significant and dangerous
