Maybe a bit "airbrushed" in places but overall a reasonably good picture of the period. It had quite an impact on Mum and Dad, who lived through it.

#nzpol. We don't have the money, we gave you $12 a week tax break, and me an extra $340 a week. Ohh, yea, we also gave $2.9 billion to landlords (hey, that is me also, woohoo), and $300 million tax break for tobacco companies. But we just don't have the money for teachers and medical staff, sorry.
