Of course the IOC is selling this. We are living in the worst timeline, after all.

The International Olympic Committee defends the T-shirt as being part of its Heritage Collection, celebrating styles from all editions of the Games.

In these crises the Democrats never lead anything. They stand in fear, quaking before the right as they get thousands killed. The party always has to get dragged to the right position, its default is fear and stasis.

The funny thing about a certain type of angry conspiracy guy is that they’re literally being confronted with an elite paedophile ring and a tyrannical government at the same time right now, and because it isn't being done by the people they wanted it to be done by they’re all being pussies about it

I’m certain that if just one Alamo Drafthouse theater near a major US city started advertising today that next weekend it would show a Catherine O’Hara film festival to memorialize her life and work, it would sell massively more tickets than the Melanie documentary does nationwide this weekend.

My proudest moment in assembling a LEGO mini-scene (created during Temu Mussolini's first assault upon America,) and I don't think I can overshare it.

I'm extremely thankful for the fact that no family members I talk to or deal with on anything remotely approaching some kind of regular basis support the fascist bullshit that is going on right now. Those family members who do support it should be even more thankful for not having to hear my fury.

Our Cardassian-like, terror-embracing regime currently has me feeling exactly the same as Ensign Boimler does in this scene.

If a Democratic president sent masked, armed agents into red states for political retribution and murdered a licensed nurse and lawful gun owner, Republicans would be demanding impeachment and prosecution for everyone involved.

I’m completely fed up with elected Representatives saying shit like, “Republicans will tell you behind closed doors that they don’t agree with what ICE is doing”.

Playtime is over. Professional courtesy no longer exists.

Name them, record them, and make it public.

So much anger over this. Trump and his goons have committed a desecration upon the city I love most.

The slavery exhibits at the President’s House have been removed following Trump administration push
President Donald Trump and Interior Secretary Doug Burgum ordered content at national parks that “inappropriately disparage” the U.S. to be reviewed and potentially removed.

Agree with most of these.

My one addition would be:

If you spot a follower re-posts or writes a lot nasty stuff or views you view as beyond the pale, block them. Even if they never post them in reply to you.

Because they'll be pushing YOUR posts to other people with those views, who may reply.
Rule 1: You don't need to justify your decision to block someone.

Holy freaking mitzelplicking *what-in-the-ass*!?

When I'm done work today, I'm going to have to pull out my Blu-ray of Labyrinth and pause the screen at the right moment on my bigscreen TV so I can properly get close to the referenced pictures to examine them for myself.

Damn.
Wait. Wait. What.

I don't often use the phrase "mind blown," but this video did just that.

Exactly one year later, and this post is not just still living rent free in my head. America is also experiencing accelerated decrepitude progressively more quickly.
Well, America, we had a good run. I mean, mostly. Okay, not entirely. *flips through a history book* You know what, forget I said anything.
