After almost 10 years of living under Labour Mayor Sadiq Khan, does London feel like the safer city Khan promised?

You don't need me to tell you that Khan's London is lawless.

In the 10 years to March 2025, violent crime in London soared by 40%, sexual offences by 75% and theft from the person by over 200%.

It's shameful that a phone is stolen in London every six minutes. It's disgraceful that people fear using a smartphone or wearing a watch on our capital's streets or the Tube.

Police hardly dare to use stop-and-search, even though they know it reduces knife crime.

Under Labour and Tory mayors, the number of Metropolitan Police stations with front counters open to the public has been cut by 80%.

Met chiefs and Khan seem more worried about hiding the truth of the grooming gangs scandal from the people of London.

Nobody really knows how many hundreds of thousands of illegal immigrants live in Khan's London. We do know that thousands of undocumented young men are put up in London hotels at taxpayers' expense and left free to roam the streets.

Whose side are Mayor Khan and his cronies on? The local elections in May will be your chance to help change the way London is run. Reform UK will stand up for all the hard-working, law-abiding people of London.

You might not know that Reform's policing policy is now driven by our crime tsar Colin Sutton the former top Met detective who no caught caught serial serial killer Levi Bellfield and the "Night Stalker" serial rapist Delroy Grant.

A Reform government will crack down on lawless London by hiring thousands more police. We will step up stop-and-search to drive knives off London's streets. We will pursue every burglar and trackable stolen phone and prosecute shoplifters.

We will make prison automatic for sexual offences, violence and knife crime - with no chance of early release. Reform will detain and deport illegal immigrants in London.

Unlike the old parties, we will not let you down.

My advice to anyone born in the last 10-15 years: Plan on living by subsistence agriculture on denuded soils. There will be no jobs. No STEM jobs (AI). No humanities or law jobs (AI). No soldiers (drones). The best analogy I can up for the human future are the Great Plains indigenous nations in 1905

My teen, who had dreamt of being an astrophysicist, just told me he wants to go to law school because, “Science isn’t going to be a priority in the US in the future…I don’t want a job where I’ll be constantly worried my funding will be taken away.”
