Decorously panicking. Reading poetry to the Mad Hatter. Listening to Haydn with the Walrus. Hanging on to the grin of the Cheshire Cat. Arts, films, stuff.

Henselpushers does incredible work and deserves all the praise, respect, and (frankly) money we can throw at them!

This kind of multidisciplinary restorative performance and musicology is something music academia should invest in, but that would require a little imagination and self-awareness
WHAT DOES HENSELPUSHERS DO?

A lot! In honor of Fanny Hensel's 220th birthday today, here is an overview of everything on offer.

I've grouped henselpushers' activities into four categories:

1) Free scores
2) Arrangements & special editions
3) Directories & resources
4) Events & Videos

Please enjoy this little known but terrific prelude by Fanny Hensel (Mendelssohn), #BOTD.
This Fanny Hensel Prelude in a minor has been in my ears a lot today. Bach for the Romantic era.

IT'S '6-7', COOPER. A GENERATION ALPHA TREND. WHAT THEY CALL A 'MAY-MAY'. IT'S AN ORPHANED SIGNIFIER, NO SIGNS ATTACHED. ONE COULD CALL IT DADAIST, BUT SOMME SAY IT'S TOO STUPID TO BE DADA. IT'S ANTI-MEANING, ANTI-HUMOUR, BUT DAMN IF THOSE KIDS DON'T FIND IT A CRACK-UP.

Cried my eyes out watching a film (Clint Eastwood’s “Sully” with an expectedly convincing Tom Hanks), but watched with only mild emotional involvement how a neighbour(whom I know and am on talking terms with) was taken away by an ambulance in what clearly was an emergency.
