ICE isn’t out of Minnesota. Enforcement hasn’t stopped; in many places it’s intensified. What changed wasn’t the raids, it was the coverage. As pressure grew, cameras shifted and Democrats redirected the conversation. But ICE activity in Minnesota is still very real & ongoing. #FuckICE #AbolishICE

Democratizing the arts looks like universal income, low-barrier grants for both emerging and working artists, well-funded municipal arts & recreation programs, vibrant third spaces, and a well-funded public school system with progressive curriculum.

Not a free pass for corporate-owned slop engines.
Every instance of "AI democratizes the arts, you're classist and ableist and a gatekeeper for trying to stop it" is a slap in the face to the literally centuries of poor, disabled people making art on the margins and a crass lie in service of a machine that strips down and regurgitates dreams

I guess I'm late to the Cosmic Princess Kaguya topic. I watched it and enjoyed it. I can understand why some people would have some unfulfilled desires about the story, but I'm pretty okay with that.

“Incredibly, Walmart took 62 years to reach $500 billion in market value, yet it added the next $500 billion in roughly two years.”

This article is terrible, but I’ll say the quiet part out loud, it was wage theft and tax breaks.

They chose to protect
1) their political opponents 2) who committed treason 3) and conspired with pedophiles. They chose it on purpose! It makes me mad as shit!
The thing that shocks me most is that all of this incriminating stuff was sitting at the DOJ for 4 years and Biden & Garland were not cynical or ruthless enough to use it against Trump & Musk in the run up to 2024.

If only they were the evil ‘weaponizers of government’ that MAGA claimed they were!

There's no salary listed, it doesn't offer health insurance, it's a six-month contract, and at 30 hours/wk, it requires enough time that holding another job would be difficult, but it seems to be remote and there are very few jobs in the TTRPG industry, so maybe the trade-offs are worth it for you.
Pelgrane Press is hiring a Customer and Platform Relationship Manager. This role focuses on community care, platform coordination, and keeping players and partners connected. If you love TTRPGs and people, this one is worth a look.

Joseph Gordon-Levitt is on CNN talking about “repealing section 230” so as a reminder: repealing 230 will destroy freedom of expression as we know it. It means more censorship, suppression & mass surveillance. This is bad, don’t let a B-list actor convince you otherwise. Call your representatives!

Alex Pretti wasn't killed by rhetoric, he was killed by two masked CBP agents shooting him 10 times in the back after they had disarmed and pepper sprayed him.

Rhetoric didn't kill Renee Good either, a thug from ICE did that with a gun as she tried to avoid hurting him.
