Comics, video games, and other artisanal lies for money. Made Spider-Woman throw a kid off a boat, put the Punisher in hot pants TWICE.

I pronounce it "blue-skee"

I met an old sea captain who said he jacks off every morning into his pet moray's aquarium. When I asked him why, he said

"Bustin' makes me eel food"

Presented without context other than that it's from her brill SPIDER-WOMAN run, these remain some of the most quintessential @thekarlapacheco.bsky.social lines of dialogue you’ll ever read…

Belatedly got around to reading VENOM: BLACK WHITE AND BLOOD #2, and @thekarlapacheco.bsky.social and Pere Perez created a wonderful late-‘90s throwback to Larry Hama’s hoo-ha-ing secret agent Venom. It’s a blast.

Have never seen Titanic.

Couldn't get through more than 15 minutes of Godfather (I tried!!)

Haven't seen any horror movies made after 1960 (and most of the ones before it were from MST3K). Which is kinda funny because people keep asking me to write horror and I'm always confused why, ha.
Inspired by a post I just saw in which someone admitted they hadn’t seen a single episode of Friends nor the film Love Actually… what cultural hole do you have that’s a bit weird for your generation?

I’ll go first: I haven’t seen Dirty Dancing.

There are a lot of important posts quoting images of government officials saying horrid things, but they don't have ALT text. C'mon folks, it's easy when you're posting a screencapped tweet; just copy and paste the text from the tweet itself!

If you were one of my aunts, you bought it every time there was some kind of BOGO sale, and then you pulled it out of your shitty gift closet whenever a birthday or holiday came up
lmao yesssssss, the Sweet Pea disappointment was so real!

Now that I think about it though, was that just people regifting Sweet Pea garbage they also didn't want, cause who would even choose to buy it in the first place

[Excitedly shrieking because I found the exact combination of essential oils that smells like 1980s dryer sheets]

"HONEY! COME SMELL MY WRISTS"

"oh huh. That's definitely it! Um...was there a reason you wanted to smell like that?"

"I HAVE CHILDHOOD ISSUES AND THEY'VE ALL BEEN SOLVED NOW!"

"Yay!"

If you're ever considering buying a piece of IKEA furniture, go to FB Marketplace first. Not so you can buy it used, but to see how badly it's going to age after two years, which is when you'll be wanting to sell the one you bought new.

An absolutely insane story about false confession: man reports his dad missing, police pressure him to confess to his dad's murder (lying about finding his dad's body, threatening his dog, etc), man confesses and tries to kill himself, dad comes home perfectly fine.

Pretty sure there's an entire subset of fanfic based on Anderson's platform being about 6-10 inches higher than that.
They put Gillian Anderson on a platform so that Mulder and Scully could gaze intensely into each other's eyes in every episode of The X-Files.

People used to make proper television.
