25 years since we released Banjo-Tooie! Have a boss-montage. Bosses are always the most fun to make. See how big and strong Mr Patch is!

Been reading @retrogamermag.bsky.social since 2007, so it was an honour to be given the opportunity to contribute to a cover feature.

Also...kind of surreal to think that I've been reading it long enough to see the retro coverage grow from the games I grew up with to the ones I worked on...😅

If we don’t signal our virtue every now and again - then so many believe they are utterly alone - “virtue signalling” is not there to say “aren’t I good” but “there are more of us than you might imagine” and “fuck you for demanding that only the brutal and the bullies may speak”

The Labour Government reeling off the same far-right talking points on immigration. And look who is celebrating. The far-right.

Without asylum:

Marks and Spencer wouldn't exist

Queen would have been without a front man

The other queen wouldn't have had a husband

Judith Kerr would never have written The Tiger Who Came to Tea

And thousands of less famous people wouldn't have been teachers, politicians, neighbours, etc

Whole fucking thing makes me sick to my stomach. An abject fucking liar, a man who lies as easily as he fucking breathes, threatening an organisation which strives for truthfulness. And plastic patriots like the Mail and Farage urging him on. Jackels.

What you’re witnessing is a populist assault on the BBC.

This is not an institutional scandal in any meaningful sense of the word. It is an attack on public service broadcasting.

Brilliant article, which demonstrates the mad outcomes of changing council tax without revaluation. The tax system is already arbitrary, irrational and unfair. That must change, or the same old problems will persevere.

Why Council Tax Reform Is Fraught With Difficulty
New analysis shows why council tax reform is such a hard task for the government as it faces widespread calls for the system to be updated.

This happened earlier today. A guy collapsed down on the floor right next to him at an Oval office event and Trump barely moves a muscle, doesn’t give a damn, and looks super annoyed that his photo op this afternoon has been interrupted. Donald Trump in a nutshell, ladies and gentlemen.

Don disagree. I’d love it if we stopped calling it a “raid”. Nobody calls the basic rate of income tax a raid. But when it’s something rich people pay it’s suggested that it’s fundamentally a form of extortion.
Nothing but positivity for this idea

Progressive.

Better than a transactions tax, doesn't gum up the market.

Encourages downsizing.

Raises useful cash.

Even Osborne likes it.

Looking forward to paying it...
