LOL at Hamnet's Best Original Score Oscar nomination. It reuses the composer's own music from previous work. What a joke.

More Symphony Of The Night on Duckstation with scanlines enabled. The soundtrack to this is sooooo good.

Still some residue to remove and there are a couple of tears, but this is already looking much better.

Playing Symphony Of The Night on #duckstation with achievements is pretty cool.

Just saw a news presenter announce that they’re talking to Sophie Turner about the new Tomb Raider crime show.

Either Amazon are going in a wildly different direction or the presenter has never played a Tomb Raider game 😂

Had my first Inart figure turn up. The box itself is a work of art. Gold-embossed foil.

I started playing Castlevania: Symphony Of The Night on my PC last night with retro achievements and a funky CRT filter. Would I be right in thinking that save states for this wouldn't be cloud-based, so I won't be able to switch between the PC and Steam Deck?

Leia and Wicket turned up today, already damaged her head sculpt taking the stupid helmet off 😭

Heard back from Evri. The driver simply couldn’t be bothered to deliver it last week so marked it down as delivered. I’ve just watched him throw it onto the porch and walk off. No knock, no doorbell. It’s stressed me out all week, but it’s finally here. Evri are the absolute worst.

Had a Robocop turn up late last night. He’s diecast so very weighty and has great presence. Love the paint job on him, although he’s freaking Doc and Marty out 😂

Just seen a Firecrest!
It's the third time I've ever seen one. The second time this year and the second time one's been in my garden. I need to stay home more often!

Tyler Durden grail acquired. He’s very loose on his feet, so going to have to keep his stand out. Looks amazing, though.

Retro Gamer celebrates its 22nd birthday today. Big thanks to everyone who paved the way for my favourite-ever job.
The first issue of Retro Gamer with @martcarroll.bsky.social as editor went on sale on the 15th of January 2004, meaning it's our 22nd birthday today. Huzzah.
Thanks to Martyn, Aaron Birch, Shaun Bebbington and everyone else who took a chance and launched the mag. (images Martyn Carroll)

That's Nick's space and it will always be Nick's space ❤️
Man, some lovely words in latest issue of @retrogamermag.bsky.social but nothing hits quite so hard as that nick shaped gap in the writers page...

Miss you, buddy

It's extremely simple on Easy and bastard hard on Normal, but I've still been loving my time with Birdcage.

Imagine having a Pokemon-obsessed kid and they ask for this £600 Lego set as a birthday present.
Lego definitely isn't for youngsters anymore.
