Really selling it here, aren’t I? You should watch. It’s very good. Unlike, if I may say so, Hamnet. Indeed it’s very much the antithesis of Hamnet.
Industry, an infinitely troubling way to spend eight hours
The high finance drama used to tease and torment by making us care about scumbags. Now it’s genuinely thrilling and terrifying too

Maybe we could go to the bits of the Circle line where you’re not sure if you’re eastbound or westbound
January 17, 2026 at 11:41 AM
That does sound rather romantic but luckily I know it’s not
January 17, 2026 at 11:37 AM
I keep meaning to and then it’s the weekend!

When you live on the Northern line you either take the City or the Charing X branch, no need to play around between the two

No outlet has ever ‘verified’ me before. Is it because of the book on trust or am I actually a viable human now

28 years a Londoner and still never been on the W&C line

Recorded before Jenrick got sacked and then joined Reform... but we ask the question "Are the Tories taking over Reform?" @mattgreencomedy.com, @rostaylor.bsky.social, @rmcunliffe.bsky.social give their thoughts with guest @petergeoghegan.bsky.social ➡️ linktr.ee/ohgodwhatnowpod

Still at least it reminds us what it was like when these pondlife were in charge. Salutary.

Always someone else’s fault, isn’t it? Take the bloody responsibility, Bob. Oh sorry, you just joined Reform, the National Grifters’ Union.

Industry - ignore the sex (OK, not easy) and it’s basically Trollope for the 21st century.

Reform clearly needs to be more than a one-man wagon if it really wants to take power and do anything with it. Farage needed new blood and washed-up Zahawi wasn't it. But can he really tolerate a genuine rival?
January 15, 2026 at 11:31 AM
Also quite possibly the moment when the Conservative party reached the point of no return
It would be extremely funny if Jenrick defected to Reform.
January 15, 2026 at 11:23 AM
I do think Farage would struggle to accommodate Jenrick in the same party for more than a week. He might rather have him begging to join the frontbench in 2029.

Yesterday I was speculating about whether Robert Jenrick would ever leave the Tories on @ohgodwhatnow.bsky.social, and now this.

This still makes me laugh like a drain and it’s another sunless January day so I’m going to repost it.
