This racist pig of a regime did not lower the flag for Jesse Jackson. Are you fucking kidding me you say what you will about him but he was an American hero and he deserves the respect for how he strengthen our democracy of the flag being lowered. This is unconscionable.

People who drive a motor vehicle: agree or disagree?

When you are driving a car, you are driving a deadly weapon.
That's why you have to avoid pedestrians and bicycles, *even if the cyclist or pedestrian is breaking laws.*
The law gives them right of way.
You're driving a weapon and they aren't.

Funding our schools is a shared responsibility. Local property taxes go up when the state fails to do its part.

The Legislature rejected over $7 billion for schools that I requested over four budgets. If lawmakers want to get serious about property taxes, start there.

Proud of Rep. Abdelnasser Rashid for leading the charge to repeal Illinois’ anti-BDS law.

As the only Palestinian American serving in the Illinois General Assembly, he has shown real courage in taking on attacks to our fundamental freedoms. We’re in this fight with him.
