That seems very likely.

...We have to make sure they really get their butts handed to them in the midterms.

Them going full mask-off on the oppression has so far backfired spectacularly, and unfortunately we need to push them to do it harder.

Oppression always breeds resistance.

In my case, we'd discussed his deep desire to watch the playoffs.
His team was on.

I had a great time, no complaints. 😁

They're more like bags of dehydrated sewage sludge.

I have persistent asthma.

I take a stomp-it-flat approach to asthma control.

Hope it clears up soon. Best wishes.

Treating the military's legal corps as a reservoir of compelled compliance undermines its role and risks normalizing the idea that when some professionals say β€œno,” the answer is to find other professionals who cannot.
JAGs Shouldn’t Be Civilian Prosecutors
The mass deportation policy is a legal messβ€”and reassigning military lawyers to support it would only create more problems.

I sincerely hope so.

I want the survivors to get justice.

I want people to be a lot more aware that child sexual abuse happens.
Why?
Monsters are gonna monster.
It's the people around them denying it, not reporting it, and not believing victims, that lets them continue to do it.

Vote scolding (very often against people who actually vote!) has been the preferred cudgel for online liberals experiencing cognitive dissonance for years now because most know they can’t defend Dem leadership on the merits but they still wish to absolve the liberal tendency of any blame whatsoever.

Sure, it's a grim thought, but if it's the truth of the matter?
Denial only permits it to fester.

... similar, here.

What really bothers me is how SOO many people around the events had a clear idea of exactly what was going on, and didn't report a damn thing.

Monsters are gonna monster. They usually get away with it because of the people AROUND them.

Inside their homes scattered around the Baltimore area, the group of watchdogs is unearthing records, like property filings, contracts, and government procurements, that are otherwise overlooked.

With what is called political, sometimes you are not speaking to the oppressor. At all. You are not considering the oppressor's gaze. You know if they see it they'll make of it whatever they want. You're speaking to the rest of the oppressed to gather power, in their language.

I've come to terms with my own death.

Plus, I have a rather rare condition, so a Google search often leads to useful info on management.

Basically, I know more about what's wrong with me and what works to manage it than the majority of doctors I'm going to encounter.

If not a simple fix, just set the trip odometer and fill it up every 100 miles.

I'm usually very much for free speech, but considering specifically THAT environment, I would think that those who issue open calls for violence should receive prison time.

You could eventually discontinue that...in a couple of decades.
