I had a run in with ICE snatching a man out of his car while walking my children to school this morning in NW DC
I asked a neighbor to continue walking my kids to school and I turned back to document and confront the ICE agents.

fyi if you're watching the supreme court arguments over the voting rights act today, know that 30ish years ago, Democrats in NC made a decision NOT to give the then-GOP governor any veto power over redistricting because they thought the VRA was enough of a check and balance and WELP
NC Dems in the late 80s-early 90s: We don’t need to give the governor veto power over redistricting, the Voting Rights Act and the courts will keep things from getting out of hand!

This might be the worst ICE video yet, because it’s literally random dudes hanging around, and then a bunch of heavily armed thugs running them down completely out of nowhere, because they’re brown. It’s a nightmare that would have seemed excessive in Jim Crow. Everyone in America should see this.
ICE is not only chasing down every random brown person in Chicago, they have a cameraman following them to film this for social media. Cruelty and inhumanity as content.
