Gender dysphoria diagnoses are only unique in that they're held to this impossible standard by transphobes! And that perfection they demand in the diagnostic criteria is only there to prevent anyone from getting treatment and they fucking know that!

Went to my first ObGyn appt yesterday (Yes, I put it off for 8 years, have mercy).

It's the last day of Ace Week and I'm recovering from gum graft surgery. But, I think this brought up something important for me. I feel a lot of pressure (mostly self inflicted) to perform my pride "correctly". To look defiantly happy as an aroace agender person existing in a queerphobic world.

People will be shocked how relevant favorability/repulsion and gender attachment/detachment spectrums are to them.
Is the primary goal of aspec advocacy to build a world where aspecs can thrive as themselves? Of course! But a consequence of that is also a world where allos thrive too!

I'm honestly terrified of what the right will use this as justification for. They're itching to engage in violence against their enemies and this will give them the excuse to do so. This is why political violence is never acceptable. It just descends into uncontrollable chaos and more violence.
