Also, shout out if you couldn't get up today, because sometimes things really, really suck and you don't have to pretend it's okay.

I wrote a book! My debut novella goes on pre-sale Jan 22.

If you’re a fan of the 90s, Buffy, unlikely superheroes, and found family, this novella could be for you. It’s a fun book.

Yo, how do we add a category to the Stokers? There should be a Best Horror Poem (singular) category, since there's tons of great horror poetry published but not many people get a whole collection. @horrorwritersassoc.bsky.social

I want news outlets to be run like scientific studies.
I don't want to see some podcaster announcing their opinions as facts; I want someone to go into great detail about how they failed to prove that bananas caused COVID. They didn't think it did, but they needed to fail to prove it first.

Wait, we're talking about Canadian slashers and they're only going to talk about the ones from the 80s? Not how Black Christmas (1974) pre-dates Halloween (1978)?
Hey y’all! Today is the 45th anniversary of the release of MY BLOODY VALENTINE in the US. Since I wrote about it recently, I decided to celebrate ‘80s Canadian Slashers to celebrate: from-the-desk-of-the-horror-chick.ghost.io/blood-in-the...

Also, since it is the 45th anniversary of MY BLOODY VALENTINE, I figured today would be a good day to share my piece on it from-the-desk-of-the-horror-chick.ghost.io/one-and-done...

I’m a huge fan of MBV & hopefully I celebrated it properly here. Any shares and/or subs would really be appreciated!
