🚨 It's not just Bezos. This was the plan with cloud all along - local machine storage & local machine processing along with the right to repair are of paramount importance. This past week Adobe said if my machine can't handle it to use the cloud machine. No Cloud. No AI.

My take on Carney's speech: He admitted that we've been lied to for decades about our economic system, and that lie had value for those telling it, but that lie has lost value, and we need to find away to restore value to the lie.

This is not left cynicism, but a sober reading of imperial positioning in this moment.
