Heads up to artists still using Twitter- Twitter is now adding an "Edit image" button under all images posted on the site that allows everyone to feed it into genAI and modify it as they wish with a prompt

Very amused to see a bunch of pro-AI folks on here trying to suggest that the obvious alternative to historians reading the literature themselves is to effectively accept the vague summaries provided by a machine that doesn’t understand words and is intellectually incapable.

Heyo - I want to weigh in on this because (while I find value in accomodations just...inherently) there's a bigger issue I think we pave over when we limit the conversation to only that angle. (A Thread)
The administration is extorting universities for billions of dollars and attempting to destroy free speech, academic freedom, and independent thought but the Atlantic talked to a few professors at elite universities who think the problem is that some students need a little extra time on exams

I've seen a lot of folks clowning on the coat bath here and- thats great and deeply earned but also: bedroom 4 / full bath is a room with a sink and nothing else. There's also the room marked "Master Rosin" and "Huge Walk Mini Closet". Theres so much wrong here.

call me crazy but i do think there should be one political party that aligns 100% with my opinion that leopards should NOT be eating people's faces, you can settle for a choice of one party wanting to help the leopards, the other just wanting to watch, but some of us have standards you know
