Meanwhile, Scotland is the member who has to hand over their pay packets to the 'head' of the house, get's half back to spend on themselves, has to pay interest in the debt when the head overspends, and isn't allowed to move out to another home that suits them better.
Britons are that family – and the giant hole in the roof is Brexit.

It should be screamed from rooftops that @uklabour.bsky.social don't give a toss about Scotland. Those who voted for them last yar should wake the fuck up - if they haven't already done so.
Labour were willing to save the Scunthorpe steel works, but not Grangemouth or Mossmorran & their Energy Profits Levy is destroying investment, livelihoods & jobs in Aberdeen & the north east.

Probably true. But I seem to recall that any slight deviation from UK government policy was met with howls of protest by the media, opposition politicians and business groups/...
The Covid-19 Inquiry said Nicola Sturgeon's 'Gold Command' meetings sidelined senior ministers, essentially turning Cabinet into a "decision-ratifying body and not the ultimate decision-making body".

Sturgeon told reporters today she stands by that decision. www.holyrood.com/news/view,mi...

I laughed at this nonsense from Reeves. She's forgotten that respect is earned and not bestowed upon someone.
Johnston was PM. Did he deserve respect? Nope.
Trump is president of the USA. Does he deserve respect? Nope.
People who do deserve respect? Gisèle Pelicot, Malala Yousafzai, Greta Thunberg.
