It baffles me that the last general election was all about getting the Tories out but now we want to put many of them back into power as members of Reform. Why should we expect better from them, especially when paired with Farage, who brought on the economic disaster of Brexit? This is not change.

The outrageous behaviour of Trump's 'henchmen' continues to spiral out of control. Looking at the evidence and listening to eye witnesses I am reminded of the quote from Orwell's 1984:

"The party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command."

It's difficult to decide if this is Starmer having a cognitive issue - like Trump - or some kind of strange, "I'm Spartacus" moment.
What seems clear is that this letter is a continuation of WM treating HR with contempt. Time to go, Scotland.

This is seriously scary stuff! A former socialist party descends further towards fascism. I must have missed the chapter in 1984 where Orwell wrote that everyone loved Big Brother. Seriously - Labour want a level of control over its citizens that was, formerly, more appropriate for North Korea. 😞

Starmer has persisted in appeasing Trump. However, it is clear that he (Trump) is unstable and can't be trusted. We should not be trying to negotiate with the US just now. It is, quite clearly, a waste of time. Time for us to rejoin Europe fully and stand together against rogue states.

However, the MSM platform Farage. This seems to remove the need for any scrutiny of Reform's policies in the eyes of many voters, sadly.

On the other hand the UK would 'inherit' all the EU trade agreements. So, hardly a disaster. In any event, no agreement with the US can be viewed as stable with Trump as president. Someone needs to slap Starmer hard on the face to see if he can return to the real world...
