This list thinks that Ace Ventura, Pet Detective is funnier than Blazing Saddles. There are very few matters of taste that I can say are absolutely definitely definitively wrong, but that is one of them.
The movie listed at #1 is so incredibly misplaced that it calls into question the veracity of the entire list. It belongs on the list, yes, but SO MUCH further down. An absolute, credibility-wrecking flub. Boo, @variety.com! Boo!

Hey folks, as news of Watson's demise spreads, please don't set aside his weighty legacy of misogyny and racism. He was truly among the worst of us. www.vox.com/2019/1/15/18...
DNA scientist James Watson has a remarkably long history of sexist, racist public comments

I’d been a huge fan of the legendary Chicago band Green since I was 14; when I was 25, I enjoyed a brief stint as their drummer. This is from the release show for the compilation Whodunit: Chicago Knows Who. Playing the songs of my favorite band with another one of my favorite bands was thrilling.

Sounds like another excellent reason to boycott Paramount!

I think we can all live without the new Debra Messing / Michael Rapaport sitcom.
Under new head of Paramount David Ellison, the studio has drawn up a list of actors who opposed the Gaza genocide and will not allow them to appear in its films and TV shows.

Does this sound familiar?

Also, "Ellison is reportedly aiming to take over Warner Bros. next."

It sure looks like the likes of Javier Bardem, Joaquin Phoenix, Emma Stone, and Mark Ruffalo won’t be making movies for Paramount in the foreseeable future.

I agree completely. AND I have a theory about this album: the concept wasn’t abandoned on side 2, but rather reflected (predicted?) the shift in US radio listeners from hyperactive AM to reflective and “heavy” FM.
The Who should be celebrated for Silas Stingy as much as anything else in their catalogue.
