Remember this always: Doesn’t matter what the press says. Doesn’t matter what the politicians or the mobs say. Doesn’t matter if the whole country decides that something wrong is something right. This nation was founded on one principle above all else:

all i wanted was a world where I could talk about politics with my friends without ever discussing two presidents giving each other blowjobs but woke took that away too.

What exotic new method of execution will we invent to deal with the "Let them eat cake" class. Maybe just inflating them till they pop.

Man today will provide an exotic display of which conservative on the court can unhinge their jaw the most to suck Donald Trump's entire ass. Wonder if they will leave Congress with any powers of the purse. Not like it says anything about this in the Constitution though.

Just so we are clear the Executive has no function in the election of any official at any time. The intrusion of the executive should be seen as the naked power grab that it is.

Then it's a general strike. Their infinite money machine only works if they can keep the stock buy backs going and market values high. If people stop working then they lose that ride.
Is it too early to ask: What if Congress never meets again? What if the President just decides by himself, with the help of private donors, what he wants to spend money on or not?

So let me get this straight. The military is on Billionaire go fund me time because we can't open the House. The Bourgeoisie refuse to pay their fair share so fucking often in this country that they will spend billions out of pocket to not support society. Hell to pay if the files see daylight.

A more rhetorical way to say this would be that "Hakeem Jeffries failed to endorse the presumptive winner of the NYC Mayoral election for 19 weeks because his patrons would not allow it."
Hakeem Jeffries endorses Zohran Mamdani for New York City mayor, 11 days before the election.

People will remember that.

Are these anti-vaxx morons just immune to survivorship bias or is that another thing we just have to deal with, like flat earth?
When idiot Ron Schneider was born in 1963, the infant mortality rate was 29/1,000. It is now close to 5/1,000. So, no, children were NOT healthier when he was a kid. And he was, clearly, dropped on his head.

Anti-abortion is not a pro-"family" policy. You know what's pro-family? Paid parental leave. Free childcare. Universal healthcare. Living wages.

On Threads, the usual suspects are telling ppl about to lose SNAP benefits to just start a garden. As a gardener, I had to laugh. You need at LEAST an acre of land to feed a family of 4. Start-up costs are enormous. But yes, subsistence farming on the balcony of your rental apartment is the answer

Unsurprisingly naked Crony Capitalism rhetoric losing to Populist rhetoric is an unmissable sign of the times. Maybe someone should tell Jeffries.
“.. The former governor’s comments come as he trails Mamdani by double digits less than two weeks out ..”

Don't forget paying himself the citizen from the doj by order of himself the president. Remember when Jimmy Carter had to sell his peanut farm. Fuck
He bulldozed the White House during a government shutdown to build himself a ballroom, then sent a letter to the states saying that SNAP benefits for 42 million people may not go out in November to those who rely on it to eat.

No one should believe them at this point any console they pump out will maybe metric slighly more than $500 dollar PC, maybe not with the Tarrifs, for a much higher price point. The Mega Corps are gonna stick it in and break it off.
Im not part of the social class Microsoft markets to anymore. It was a fun run but im gonna stick to cheap retro gaming going forward

First of Fuck C suite. Second if only they belonged to some organization that could both protect their rights and ensure the corporation doesn't use and discard their talents. Seems to work well for actor's.
I don’t talk about it much because the situation doesn’t really change but it’s still insane to me what an enormous amount of really talented game developers are out of work. just whole studios worth of incredible people, often people who worked on beloved games, unemployed.

A tender beef patty expertly seasoned with herbs and spices to enhance the umami flavors. Cheese sliced delicately to enhance the flavor of the dairy while also complimenting the beef. Pickles dredged from their concocted brine grace the burger. Elegant onions. I give you Chekhov's Cheeseburger

It really bothers me that people are saying federal government workers “should” have savings and not need their next paycheck immediately. You have no clue what’s gone on in their lives in the past few years and why they don’t have savings.

I was gonna be cynical, but did 2 secs of googling. Seems like Sen. Merkley is one of the good ones. No Aipac money, cosponsored an anti-aggression bill during the brief moment of insanity over Iran, and this floor speech. At least there is some life in the twitching corpse of the Democratic party.
Sen. Jeff Merkley has been speaking on the Senate floor since 6:20pm last night — protesting Trump and warning that "tyranny has arrived."

"Trump is shredding our Constitution. Is it okay for masked federal agents to arrest people off the street because of their skin color … Not in a free America."

Anyway, the tl;dr to take away from all this is a thing I have been repeating for ages, which is that extremism symbols function on a plausible-deniability basis. People who use them 100% rely on normal people going "I had no idea, so maybe he didn't either."

The NYPD now responds to hundreds of thousands of mental health calls every year, slowing response times for other emergencies.

We can deploy trained public health workers and allow cops to focus on the serious crimes that too often go unresolved.

Well I would advise them to look into durable media rather than stick their head into slop between the commercials and the censorship why would you listen. Why do you think Vinyl made a niche resurgence?
Are people really not aware of the existence of radio?

I look forward to the new tenants fully modernizing the White House as a demonstration of communal good will between neighbors.
