Second, they were clear that they’d put their constituents first, not a political party and not big donors. These are leaders and fighters who want to actually get stuff done. Americans are tired of excuses and politics as usual that don’t work for them.

First, the candidates who won were laser focused on addressing the rising costs facing families. They were LISTENING to what voters were telling them. They had real plans to lower child care, utility, and health care costs. And they were all in on making life more affordable.

Like, you have to sign a form and then mail it in. I'm going to guess if it's super close there will also be groups canvassing to help voters cure their ballots, but definitely don't count on that.
Also, if you don't hear from your auditor but your ballot was rejected, you should call them.

Most of the ballots I've helped cure, it's because someone forgot to sign the return envelope, the signature didn't match what they have on file, or multiple people in a household voted and signed someone else's return envelope. It's generally a pretty easy fix.

You should receive a letter in the mail from your county's auditor that includes a form to "cure" your ballot, i.e. make whatever correction it is that's needed. I believe my county also calls or emails if we include that information on our return envelope.
