Speculation is that ICE could be trying to move people out to clean the holding cells and to set up cots to comply with the latest judicial order to address inhumane conditions inside the facility. The judge is currently scheduled to inspect the facility Thursday morning.

Earlier this morning, we saw a delivery to the ICE facility. There were four or five pallets like this offloaded by forklift. It appeared that they took the boxes inside.
We also saw several vans coming and going this morning, with three other buses parked by the facility

We witnessed about a dozen detainees put on to the plane. There may have been more. As they started to load the plane, they blocked our initial view with firetrucks, so we had to relocate and may have missed some people.

On May 2, 1963, thousands of brave Black students—some as young as 8—marched from Birmingham’s 16th Street Baptist Church to protest segregation. Trained in nonviolence, they faced fire hoses, dogs, beatings, and arrests.
