The fact that one of the most interesting versions of Captain Hook is probably from the 90's Fox's Peter Pan & The Pirates, is kind of crazy.

HA they went hard with his dialog....man I haven't seen this in 20 years.

The last installment of Project Paramount.

Nickelodeon. And final words.

I'm finished. I'm not going any further with this.

Happened again today. Put "Twitter becomes permanently unusable after a catastrophic server failure" on your bingo cards for this or next year, everybody
At this rate Twitter *will* probably be down indefinitely, or such a thing will happen within the next few months

Few things are more exhausting than relying to a comment made by someone who can barely put together a sentence asking for some clarity, and then they take it personally and double down on the stupid like it's *your* fault they can't type legibly.

1. Toonami on weekdays was monoculture. We need monoculture back, not nostalgia.

2. I think every fan should go to at least one convention in their lives. Even if it's a small con 20 minutes away in a tiny hotel.

And then they proceed to show the opening to Animaniacs for about ten seconds or so before Spielberg interrupted it explaining "No, we can't do that."

Kind of funny in hindsight, almost as if MeTV Toons were telling the audience they can't get Animaniacs yet.

Still, so close.

The other night on MeTV Toons, I saw a rather funny Quick Schtick clip. It was the scene from Freakazoid where the writers were discussing a scene that was short and Steven Spielberg noticed it barely had Freakazoid in it. The writers explained they wanted to end the episode early to air Animaniacs.

I was looking at this and actually thought to myself "Do they even still do the Teen Choice Awards?"

And no, no they don't.

They haven't had one since 2019 after 20 years of ceremonies, so we're about a decade removed from the last one.

Ah well.

Truly depressing how when voice actors get harassed over on Twitter, about half the people reacting are saying “no no not THOSE voice actors, we’re supposed to be harassing THESE voice actors”

These people will consume each other.

The reason I made a big deal about the original cuts of Dark Water resurfacing is that to me that *is* the definition of Lost Media. The original cuts have not been seen since that one time Fox Kids airing and I suspect H-B altered the masters so they are fully lost.

The Tick was labeled an ABC ORIGINAL when Hulu started showing it several years back (I think that tag's since been removed).

I am convinced that it is because it's under "ABC Family Worldwide," and some staffer just saw the ABC and thought it was owned by ABC proper.

Hogan's Heroes has had a lock on the 10 PM MeTV slot for as long as I had the channel, which is about a decade. Shows came and went around it, but Hogan's Heroes was in that slot.

Until now.

MeTV, from the bottom of my heart, thank you for being a friend.

One big show will likely never be on MeTV largely because its legacy has been tainted by its title star. Primetime soaps like Dallas and Dynasty would be a welcome addition, but I do understand why they wouldn't air. They're too serialized and linear.

Honestly, MeTV has been the home of so many certified classic shows & as the decades passed, even when '90s shows rolled over into classic TV much to some weirdos' chagrin, there were only a handful of really big shows that the network never aired that seemed like long shots. Golden Girls was one.

I'm begging y'all to do SOME due diligence. Half of the "common knowledge" in our community is bullshit made up to pump the egos of pre-Y2K weebs, and the other half is the result of a decades-long game of Telephone.

Also, "Lost Media" has a real definition. Don't use it as a shorthand for "OOP"
