I only just started offering a kofi for people to donate to support my work. It took forever for me to feel like I even deserved to be paid for something that takes so much time and effort.
Just saw someone claim that authors who want to be paid for their work are "class traitors" because we "only let the wealthy" read our books, and I think I need to go into the woods to scream into the night for a bit.

On the clock app got into an argument with someone who I agree with the basic premise he posted, which was trans women are women. I only tried to point out that there actually isn't "extensive" studies of the trans experience or people. Damn cishet guy mansplaining about my existence is exhausting

Unfortunately, Bluesky is unavailable in Mississippi right now, due to a new state law that requires age verification for all users.
While intended for child safety, we think this law poses broader challenges & creates significant barriers that limit free speech & harm smaller platforms like ours.
