We hear about how pro-immigrant side is extreme. There is literally nothing more extreme than this statement. Being willing to sacrifice the country’s foundations for an evil goal

Two groups, both claiming to be local residents and businesses, have popped up in opposition for each of the Dufferin and Bathurst transit-only surface routes.

But if both groups claim to be locals, why are their names and the text on their websites almost exactly the same?

Yes. In Quebec, cyclists are prohibited from wearing "earphones or headphones that cover one or both ears".

Drivers are allowed "to wear a headphone or earphone in only one ear, in order for the driver to hear the sounds of the surrounding environment".

So we apply higher standards to cyclists.
Serious question here. Does the law say headphones? Cause I wear one (singular headphone) when riding.

Toronto’s two new ferries will be costing this much alone. Not to mention maintenance/staffing annual costs that I’m sure are much higher than a bridge.
Report to next week’s Exec Committee meeting on the dream of an eastern gap bridge to Toronto Island concludes it’s challenging, but possible. Estimated at $100 million. Staff recommend holding off for now, with bridge considered "as a potential long-term project.” secure.toronto.ca/council/agen...

Bennett needs some games for that one. Head contact on a goalie causing something like that?
Hockey Night just showed Stolarz throwing up on the Leafs bench before he left the game, about 10 minutes of game action after the elbow to the head by Sam Bennett. Oh, boy.

Rents fall, and renters have more options to find homes that meet their needs.

Abundance and choice are good things.
When vacancy rates rise, rents fall. It's the most robust finding in housing. If you want housing costs to fall, you have to build.

Where can the city save tax dollars? Maybe not conducting a year long multi-phased study on improving the paths in Trinity Bellwoods. You are the professionals, just do the work. The deference to “consultation” is exhausting.

Some stats from 100 days in on congestion pricing:
- Complaints about car-honking are down 70%
- The Holland Tunnel has 65% fewer delays at rush hour; time to get thru it is down 48%
- 6 million fewer cars
- Half as many traffic-related injuries
- 1.5 million more visitors to BIDs year over year
How Well Is Congestion Pricing Doing? Very.
One hundred days in, honking is down; bus speeds are up.

It does feel kind of strange that a few years ago -while we had a lot of big discussions about Canada’s national history and who we celebrate- nobody pointed out who our Westernmost province is named after.

Rather than tariffs on everybody, allow me to propose one big tariff on one country each year. This year’s sin-eater is Australia. Next year’s is looking like Australia as well.

I know “this is why Democrats won’t win” is an overused trope but when somebody openly says they’re regretting their support for the other guy MAYBE YOU SHOULD STOP THROWING PUNCHES AT THEM SPECIFICALLY.
"I didn't vote for" you did. Sorry. You did. Should have listened to the woke libtards instead of your roided out imaginary friends who told you kids were pooping in kitty litter at school

A tricky thing about modern society is that no one has any idea when they don’t die.

Like, the number of lives saved by controlling air pollution in America is probably over 200,000 per year, but the number of people who think their life was saved by controlling air pollution is zero.
