So I think there's a case to be made for a type of internally, ethically sourced generative Ai for npc dialogue. Not Chat gpt levels, but something that can be programmed to spit out variations of dialogue without some intern forced to type out variations of "what're u buying" 6,000 times.
I don't believe in a middle ground when you have chatbots encouraging people to kill themselves.

The "are you okay?" response was also my exact instinct when dealing with someone who has spent clearly a huge amount of time to do a mean-spirited gesture with some disingenuous outcome because that kind of behavior is not what a healthy, happy person does.
